Welcome to the Library Lesson Library

The Library Lesson Library is a place to find lessons that you can teach your students in an elementary school library! School librarians are busy, and sometimes you need a few ideas to get going 🙂

Search Ideogram by libberry - search icon/pictogram/Ideogram  Find Library Lessons:

Use the “Categories” on the right to find lesson plans by Grade Level and Subject.

Use the “Tags” (below “Categories”) to find lesson plans that meet particular Common Core State Standards and American Association of School Librarians Standards for the 21st-Century Learner.

Also see my other blog, Teaching Mathematics in a School Library, for resources focused on using literature and games to teach mathematics in a library. Numbers are fun!

Note that most book links route to Amazon.com via the Amazon Affiliates program (so I would make a percent of the money if you are to buy the books). Thank you for your support!
